Denise began her career as a Clinical Dietitian in Singapore’s National University Hospital (NUH), and she has developed Clinical Nutrition, and Medical Nutrition Therapy expertise over the last 10 years.

At NUH, Denise managed the dietetic needs of patients from different wards including: General Medicine, Respiratory, Endocrinology, Neurology, Surgical, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, Paediatrics and Obstetrics. She also pursued other specialties including Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management, Diabetes and Eating Disorders.

To help elicit behaviour change, and achieve health goals, Denise applies the principles of Motivational Interviewing with her patients and clients. She is also passionate about preventative health care.

Denise is a Health Science Scholar with Singapore’s Ministry of Health, and had also received a development award from MOH during the course of her career.
