James Figueira
Principal Teacher & Owner,
The Yoga Shala


Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, James is the principal teacher and owner of The Yoga Shala, and is authorized (Level 2) by the Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) in Mysore, India.

He has well over 25 years of teaching experience behind him. As a former USA Gymnastics men's coach, and fitness trainer James has a very good understanding of physical movement, and how it relates to each individual.

James has taught and held workshops in Malaysia, USA,
